Location of Lakshya

Lakshya is located around 2 kms from Patiala Bus Stand and Railway Station. The city is directly connected by road to Delhi. However, rail link is through Ambala Cantt and all of the Amritsar, Jammu and Chandigarh bound trains halt at Ambala Cantt. The city is directly approachable from Ambala Cantt via Road (Bus Stand & Railway station are about 55 kms from Ambala Cantt.). Many of the trains also stop at Rajpura. Participants are requested to check the details of trains/timings from railway timetable.

Lakshya is located 27 kms from Rajpura. Chandigarh (70 km.) is the nearest airport. All buses coming from Chandigarh/Ambala side stop at the Patiala bus stand. Frequent bus service to Patiala is available from Rajpura and Ambala Cantt. A luxury AC video coach leaves for Patiala daily from Counter No. 14 of the Delhi Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at 5.30 p.m. and reaches Patiala at 9.45 p.m. The passengers are dropped at the bus stand from where lakshya is less than 2 kms.

By Rail:

From New Delhi, take New Delhi-Bhatinda Inter City Express or the Shatabdi Express to Ambala, and then hire a taxi for the drive to Patiala. For Train information please refer to following link.

By Road:

Patiala lies just off the National Highway #1 (Delhi-Amritsar) and is about 250 Km from Delhi. The journey via Ambala Cantt. takes about 5 hours. You can also drive to Patiala from Chandigarh, via Zirakpur (on NH 22), and Rajpura.

By Air:

Chandigarh (70 km) is the nearest airport. From Chandigarh, taxi service is easily available. All buses coming from Chandigarh side stop at the Patiala bus stand.
